Niko

Niko is an energetic, 1.5 year old, neutered chocolate Lab who gets along great with other dogs, (cats are unknown) follows many basic commands (in (crate), sit, off, come, no, sometimes stay) and is a very loving puppy. He takes treats gently but can sometimes be a bit mouthy. He would be best with older children or adults due to his size and activity level (he doesn’t realize that his hugs can knock people over!). He is great at fetch and loves to chew on toys. He is seat-belted when riding in the car, otherwise he will try and sit in your lap! Niko would do best with a fenced yard so he can run and play with his toys. He is being fostered in Joliet, IL.

Adopting a Lab can be a wonderful experience. Your new dog will need lots of love, adequate exercise and attention. Keep in mind that dog ownership may include additional costs for training, grooming, and health care beyond annual vaccines and monthly preventatives. It’s a lifetime commitment!
