Meet Buddy: The Ultimate Gentleman! 🐾

If you’re looking for a companion who is as calm as a summer breeze and as polite as they come, Buddy is your man! This handsome 9-year-old black Lab is the definition of a “frosty-faced” sweetheart. With his distinguished silver muzzle and soulful eyes, Buddy has mastered the art of being the perfect house guest.

Buddy is a typical senior who truly appreciates the finer things in life: a gentle scratch behind the ears, a soft place to nap, and plenty of love from his humans. He has impeccable manners and a calm, steady presence that will bring so much peace to your home.

He is currently listed as “Coming Soon” on our website alongside his friend Ethel while we get them caught up on their vet visits, vaccines, and health checks. We want to make sure this boy is feeling his absolute best before he officially starts his search for a forever family!

This Lab is currently in a foster home, which is CILRA’s standard practice and allows us to learn more about the Lab before they are officially ready for adoption. It gives us time to evaluate the Lab’s personality, bring them up-to-date on vaccinations, and have them spayed/neutered if needed.
