It took almost a year (Yes!!) for Henry’s special adopter to find him. And she shared this wonderful update with CILRA:

I had wanted another dog to keep my dog Heidi company. My sister sent me Henry’s bio from CILRA and his story just spoke to me. I knew he was the one. So I went to pick him up outside of Chicago – almost 4 hours away. Best decision I could make! He is such a delightful fun dog. He gets along so well with my other dog Heidi. He is super sweet and a well behaved mellow dog. He is a good opposite to my high energy other dog. He doesn’t get excited for much but when I feed him, he does a food dance. Cutest thing ever! I am so happy with him and so grateful to CILRA for giving us the opportunity to adopt these wonderful dogs and give them their furever home. — Carmen Q.
