Blondie’s Journey

Blondie is playing tug for the first time! From being breeder dog to snuffles and squeaky toys – she’s living her best life. Since finding her forever person, Lauren, Blondie’s been checking off all the “firsts”: her first swim, her first grass roll, and now her first tug game. This sweet girl has found her happy ending – and her person.

We loved reading this note from Carol W., the very special CILRA volunteer who fostered Blondie:

“This really warms my heart. Blondie was my foster for almost a year. She was a breeder Lab who must have been scarred so badly in the past that most people would have given up on her. It shows that patience and lots of love can produce miracles with dogs such as Blondie as she continues to blossom and realize how wonderful a dog’s life can be. She has finally learned how to play!”
