Lana

It’s taken time to write this, it’s been so hard. I lost my Lana due to old age, her legs just wouldn’t support her anymore. I adopted her from CILRA in May 2019 after rescue from a breeder in Iowa was forced to shut down. She was 6 years old then. I wanted to give her the best years of her life here at her new home and I hoped I provided it to her. Nothing bothered her, she loved everyone and any creature she came across, even making friends with a feral cat. She never barked and never turned down a treat. After a questionable 6 year start to her life, the next 6 years she was a gentle loving Lab.

I’ll see you and all my CILRA Labs, and other wonderful dogs I’ve adopted and lost, at the bridge Lana. Till we meet again.
