The Griz

On September 10, we lost Grizzly, a Lab rescue that adopted us through CILRA at age 9. He was with us for 5 great years…truly a “gentle giant” and was the leader of our pack. He and Pavo (our other 14 yr. old “rescue” dog, found as a starving puppy on the Baja Peninsula) were definitely brothers with different mothers. They liked each other from day one. We know that Griz came from a good home. He was a sweet and gentle dog. We will miss him greatly!    — The Jenkins Family, Indianapolis
