A Life Well Loved: Bobo
This February, we said goodbye to one of our cherished adoptees, Bo — lovingly known as Bobo.
And while there is sadness in goodbye, today we choose to celebrate a life that was full, joyful, and deeply loved.
Nearly six and a half years ago, Bo found his forever family. What followed were years of companionship, strength, tail wags, quiet moments, and everyday joy. He wasn’t just a dog in their home — he was their boy.
He left this world peacefully, surrounded by love. His family takes comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain — and we take comfort in knowing he lived exactly the life we hope for every rescue dog: safe, cherished, and completely adored.
His family shared that they want everyone to remember him as he was in his brightest days — happy, healthy, strong, and shining. And that is exactly how we will remember him.
Bo’s story is why we do this work. Because rescue isn’t just about saving a life — it’s about creating years of memories, laughter, and love.
To Bo’s family: thank you. Thank you for saying yes to adoption nearly six and a half years ago. Thank you for giving him the life he deserved. Thank you for loving him all the way to the end.
His sister Lily is doing well, and we continue to hold their family close.
Run free, sweet Bo.
You were loved beyond measure. And that love remains. 🐾✨
